This illustration is a redesign of the album ‘Go To Heaven’ (1980) by the Grateful Dead. The original cover, pictured below, was photographic, not illustrated. The image they chose actually led many people to think they released a disco album. I listened to the album as I drew, leading me to create a cover that I think fits the sound of ‘Go To Heaven’ a little better!
